We see that in the months of May throughout the month of June. This is when your grass has the biggest spurt of growth and usually after one week you will see a tremendous height increase in your blades of grass. You will see your lawn thrive especially if you ensured a proper clean-up, thatching, seeding, and fertilization in April, and are watering properly and regularly.
Watering Your Lawn
Initially before we begin any lawn service we ask if you have a sprinkler system. This makes a tremendous difference in the life of your grass and shrubs. If you don’t we ask how often you water your lawn. We access the sun exposure too. We are a weekly service operation, as we are well aware the “every 10 day,” mowing doesn’t work, as it usually turns into every other week. Also not everyone wants chemicals and some need more or less. We are DEC certified and schooled to access this too. It is your decision if you would like chemical applications which will be recommended.
Scheduled Grass Cutting & Mowing
In the months of July and August you most likely will see your lawn growth slow down. Some clients still want us every week, but others opt for an every other week service to cut down costs. In addition to grass maintenance we maintain your shrubs, hedges and beds. You will see when the season begins your mulch has significantly dwindled, and as the season progresses you will see more of the same. Some clients like their beds turned once month, some just ask for more mulch, others leave it alone.
